The Andrew Pinckney Inn was meticulously restored from a double tenement built sometime around 1840 adjacent to lands belonging to the Pinckneys, one of Charleston, South Carolina's oldest and most prominent families. The building was built by two of the four Charleston businessmen who comprised the City Lands Company and purchased part of this area in 1836. With a common wall between the new and finely finished units, they served as well to do residences for the two prominent men for many years. You'll enjoy modern amenities while keeping the splendor of the old south. Plan an evening on our Rooftop Garden Terrace and view spectacular sunsets silhouetting our enchanted Charleston.

From I-26 - Take Meeting Street/Visitor's Center exit and follow Meeting Street 2 miles to Pinckney Street. Left on Pinckney to Church Street. Hotel is on left at corner of Pinckney and Church Streets.
From Hwy. 17 (Southbound) - Cross the Cooper River, take the East Bay Street
exit. Right on East Bay, go 1.4 miles to North Market Street. Right on North
Market to Church Street. Right on Church Street to Pinckney Street. Hotel is on
corner of Pinckney and Church Streets.
From Hwy 17 (Northbound) - Cross the Ashley River, bear right onto Lockwood
Drive. Lockwood turns into Broad Street. Follow Broad Street to East Bay Street.
Left on East Bay. Go .5 miles on East Bay to North Market Street. Left on North
Market to Church Street. Right on Church Street to Pinckney Street. Hotel is on
