The resort is a 1600 acre private gated oceanfront paradise, surrounded by the Atlantic ocean and the Intercoastal Waterways and offers more than 350 one to four bedroom villas and three to eleven-bedroom homes, many with spectacular views of the Atlantic ocean and the emerald fairways of tranquil lagoons. In addition, the resort features AAA four diamond rated Boardwalk Inn, 93 luxurious rooms and suites. There are 8 junior suites, a poolside hospitality suite and a 1700 square feet grand presidential suite on the top floor featuring extraordinary views of the Grand Pavilion and Atlantic ocean. The Village at Wild Dunes is situated at the center of the resort's activities, just next door to the Boardwalk Inn. Located on 1,600 acres, including three miles of Isle of Palms beachfront, the Wild Dunes Resort is a gated community comprising of 93-room Boardwalk Inn Hotel, 250 vacation rentals, and 125 guest rooms and suites at The Village at Wild Dunes. In addition to beach activities, the resort has two championship Tom Fazio-designed golf courses, 17 har tru courts and tennis center, two pro shops, four restaurants, kids' clubs, spa, fitness center, resort shopping, and organized activities (surcharges).
The resort has a total of 20 pools for each villas complex, plus oceanfront, lap, and family pools. All just 30 minutes from historic Charleston, SC. The Inn is also home to intimate dining at Sea Island Grill Restaurant and Lounge and a sparkling pool with cabanas. Directions
From I-26: Head East into the Charleston area to I-526. Take I-526 East toward Mt. Pleasant (Exit 212C).
From I-526: Head East toward Mt. Pleasant and take the Georgetown Exit, Hwy 17. Continue straight at the light, crossing Hwy 17 onto Hungry Neck Boulevard. Pass through two stoplights and at the third, turn right onto Highway 517, the Isle of Palms Connector. See below "On the Island" for getting to Wild Dunes once you've crossed the Intracoastal Waterway on Highway 517.
From Hwy 17 North or South: Turn east at Highway 517, the Isle of Palms Connector. Take the Connector over the Intracoastal Waterway onto Isle of Palms.
From the Airport: Take I-526 East to the Georgetown Exit, Hwy 17 North. Continue straight at the light, crossing Hwy 17 onto Hungry Neck Boulevard. Pass through two stoplights and at the third, turn right onto Highway 517, the Isle of Palms Connector. See below "On the Island" for getting to Wild Dunes once you've crossed the Intracoastal Waterway on Highway 517.
On the Island: Turn left at the light at the foot of the bridge onto Highway 703, Palm Boulevard. Continue following Palm Boulevard, parallel to the Atlantic Ocean. As you cross 41st Avenue, you will see the Wild Dunes directional sign to turn right, onto Palm Boulevard (extension). The Wild Dunes entrance is on the left.
When using a GPS device to locate the main entrance to Wild Dunes Resort, please enter 4600 Palm Blvd, Isle of Palms, SC as the street address.
